How can I move domain names between easily accounts?

To transfer your domain name to another account with Easily, please email with the information below:


– the domain name(s) you wish to transfer
– the username of both the existing and new account (click here for instructions on how to create a new account)
– the answer to the secret question associated with both the existing and new account


Please be aware that any web or email forwarding associated with a domain name may need to be reconfigured once the domain name has been moved to the new account.

How do I update my contact details?

To update the details associated with your Easily account, please follow the instructions below.  Please note that this will only change the details held in your Easily account which will be used should we need to contact you, and for the whois contact details for any future domain names registered through your account.

To update the details associated with your Easily account, go to My Account then click on .

Before you can update your contact details, you will first be requested to validate the contact email address for your account. You will be given an opportunity to update your contact email address, then when you click submit, an email will be sent to that email address. You will need to click on the link within that email to validate that your contact email address is valid and accessible (note: you will need to be logged into your Easily account when you click on this link).


Once your email address has been validated, you will then be able to edit the other contact details associated with your account. Please note that you will only need to go through the email address validation process again if you change the contact email address for your account.

I’ve lost my account login details and my contact email address doesn’t work, what can I do?

To retrieve your account login details, please follow these instructions:

  1. Go to
  2. In the top right corner please click on the “My Account” button
  3. Click the “Forgotten Login/Password” button
  4. Enter your contact email address. The email address you give must be the same as the contact email address on your Easily account
  5. Click “Send”
  6. We will send you an email with your username and instructions on how to reset your password

If your email address in no longer active or you can’t remember which address is associated with the account, please email or call us on 0800 0723 636 for further instructions.

I’m receiving lots of mail delivery failures, what can I do?

If you are unexpectedly receiving multiple email failure, non-delivery or other messages relating to emails that have bounced, it is possible that are the victim of email address “spoofing”.  This is a common technique used by spammers which involves using a third party’s email address as the “from address” for the emails that they send.  This is usually done to mask the actual origin of the spam emails.

Please be assured that this is not an indication that your services have been compromised in any way.

We have added functionality to the Easily system that will allow you to discard these messages, if you have been the victim of email address spoofing.

This functionality will simply discard all email failure and undeliverable messages that are sent to your email address, which means any notifications relating to emails you have actually sent, that are undeliverable, will also be discarded.

For this reason, we recommend that this functionality only be used if you are encountering a specific issue and be used only for a short period of time.

To activate or deactivate this functionality, please go to My Account, login and click on (D) to manage your domain names, then (E) to administer your email accounts, then Modify next to your Spam Filter settings.

Below the Spam Filter settings, you will see the Bounced email messages section.  To discard bounced messages sent to your domain name, click “Discard”.  Once set to Discard, the button will change to “Accept”.  When you are ready to begin accepting bounced messages again, simply click “Accept.

We also recommend that you should set the “catch-all” for your domain name to: as this will ensure that you only receive email that is sent to addresses that you have configured.  Please see Setting up email forwarding for more information.
