We have introduced an easier layout to the terms and conditions to make them easier to navigate. The new terms use a clearly titled drop down structure so that the specific terms that apply to each product and/or service are easier to find.
We have refreshed the wording of our terms and conditions to make them easier to understand. For example, we have made it clearer in the General Terms at what point a contract is concluded and how we communicate this to our customers (see Section A General Terms, clause 4 Contract Formation).
We have moved important information that was spread across the Easily website (such as the Cancellation Policy) into one place so that is easier to find and review.
We have removed sections from the existing terms and conditions that relate to products and/or services that are no longer offered by Easily or are not supported. We have retained the terms that relate to legacy products and/or services that, whilst not offered to new customers, are still supported by Easily (such as Search Engine Optimisation services).
We have made our Cancellation Policy easier to review and updated our online Cancellation form to make it easier for Customers to cancel their products and/or services within the applicable deadlines (See Section J – Cancellation Policy and Form).
We updated our Acceptable Use Policy to bring it up to modern standards of legitimate use (See Section K – Acceptable Use Policy)).
We have increased our liability limit for Intellectual Property Right breaches to £10,000 and to 125% of the Fees for general liability (increased from 100%) (see Clause 13 – Easily’s Liability to You of the General Terms).
Our service obligations have not changed: Easily will continue to support your service needs as before.
Our domain renewal service terms have not changed: Easily will continue to notify you of the new to renew your domain name prior to expiry as follows: forty-five (45) days, thirty (30) days, fourteen (14) days, seven (7) days, on expiry and for gTLDs, within five (5) days of expiry (See Section B – Domain Registration Services, clause 4.3 Renewals for more details).
Our cancellation policy for domain names has not changed: Easily will process any cancellation request relating to a domain name registration and/or renewal provided the request is made in accordance with the Cancellation Policy and is made within 5 (five) working days of the date Easily confirmed your order. (See Section J – Cancellation Policy and Form)
Our cancellation policy for Services has not changed: e.g. web hosting, email, easilyshop, website creator (excluding domain name registrations and/or renewals). All of our services packages include a 30 day money back guarantee. If you’re unhappy for whatever reason we will be happy to refund your money within the first 30 days from date of purchase. Our payment terms have not changed; Payment of the Fees shall continue to be made via our secure third party credit/debit card provider and taken at the time of order. The provision of the Services is conditional on Easily receiving payment of the Fees in full. In the event of non-payment of Fees or suspected fraudulent activity in relation to payment of Fees by You, Easily reserves the right to withhold, suspend or cancel the Services (see clause 6 Payment under General Terms).
